Tinkerbell Quaking Ornamental Grass Description

Briza media Tinkerbell is a charming ornamental grass known for its fine foliage and distinctive dangling flower heads. The delicate seed heads catch the light and sway gently in the breeze, creating movement and visual interest throughout the summer.

The airy appearance of this quaking ornamental grass makes it particularly effective when planted among flowering perennials, other ornamental grasses or naturalistic planting.

Its subtle form can soften borders and add texture without dominating the planting scheme.

Tinkerbell can also work well in containers, gravel gardens, wildlife friendly planting areas and informal borders.

Its understated appearance makes it suitable for both traditional and contemporary garden designs.

Pruning Advice

Allow the seed heads of Briza media Tinkerbell to remain through autumn and winter if you want to enjoy their structure and movement for longer.

Cut back old foliage in late winter or early spring before fresh new growth begins.
