Dragon Head Bamboo Hedge Plant Description

Unlike many other bamboo species, Dragon Head Bamboo (Bambusa malingensis) is characterised by its bushy, dense growth from top to bottom and its graceful, weeping habit. Pruning Advice

Dragon Bamboo is clump forming and should be pruned regularly to prevent it from spreading further than desired. Any spindly or unwanted canes can be cut back to ground level in spring and new shoots should be pruned once they are taller than the rest of the hedge.
