Pruning Advice

If you find the need to perform a hard-pruning on your Cherry/Common Laurel, it is recommended to do so in March. Well-established plants that have become woody can be pruned down to ground level, rejuvenating their appearance.

For routine hedge maintenance, a general trimming should be conducted twice a year, with one session in early June and another in late September. Timing is crucial to avoid removing new growth shoots. Alternatively, some individuals opt to leave Cherry Laurel unpruned, as the dense and lush leaves may appear untidy if subjected to frequent trimming.
