Big Blue Lilyturf Ornamental Grasses Description

Lilyturf Liriope muscari ‘Big Blue’ is a hardy perennial valued for its combination of evergreen foliage and seasonal flowers. Its narrow, strap-like leaves form attractive clumps, providing consistent texture and structure throughout the year.

During late summer and early autumn, Big Blue Lilyturf produces upright spikes of violet-blue flowers above the foliage.

These distinctive blooms provide a strong contrast with the green leaves and bring additional colour to borders and shaded planting schemes. Dark berries can follow the flowers, extending the plant's ornamental interest into autumn.

Reaching approximately 30–45 cm (12–18 inches) in height with a similar spread, this Big Blue Lilyturf plant is well suited to smaller planting spaces.
