Description

The Sesleria autumnalis plant is a practical choice for gardeners who want an ornamental grass with subtle colour and a neat growth habit. Its fine leaves complement flowering perennials, shrubs and other grasses, making it suitable for both contemporary and traditional gardens.

Plant it in groups for a soft, consistent border or use it along pathways and at the front of planting beds. Sesleria autumnalis grass offers seasonal texture with relatively little maintenance once established.

Pruning Advice

Remove dead or damaged foliage as needed. In early spring, tidy the clump and remove old leaves before new growth develops. Avoid cutting deeply into the crown.
